Testimonials

"I want to tell you that I really look forward to your online yoga classes every week and feel better for them.

It's easier than going out to go to yoga!

We are very lucky that  you come into our homes every week to give your expertise,

so thank you very much"

Jilly Brockway, Frome

" The Zoom yoga classes are so much more enjoyable and powerful than i expected.  In fact, in some ways, I find them more powerful than when we meet, maybe because I am able to put 100% into the practice - physically, mentally and from the heart - it is much more of a meditative practice."

Helena, Frome

"I love being in your class.

By the end I feel awash with

relaxation & happy hormones."

Autumn term theme:

We will be exploring how to practise yoga; how often to practise & for how long, how to change your practise as you mature in age and experience.

We will also explore attitudes to adopt in order to sustain your practise.

And discover how these approaches, both physical and mental, can be adopted into your every day life to enhance your wellbeing.

What to expect

yoga teacher, Elaine Marie Ewens will guide you through a series of postures, plus breathing, sound and visualisation practices. By individual attention she will aim to ensure you stretch and strengthen yourself in a safe and healthy way.

Approach

The breath is key, intending to create a serene, meditative state in the practitioner. For more information: Yoga Approach

"The key to opening is trust and love."

"It is important to honour our vulnerability and recognize that we each need a trusting situation in which to work with the deepest feelings that arise within us...

We can melt our difficulties with love. We can't batter them down, but we can dissolve them."

- Jack Kornfield
